Practical Nursing – Diploma Program:

 The Practical Nursing Program prepares graduates to practice within the scope of the Practical Nurse under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within structured, acute, intermediate, long term and ambulatory health care facilities. The student is taught to use the nursing process at the practical nurse level. The Practical Nursing Program is 12 months in length.

Valere Health Institute is an Authorized American Heart Association Training Center, offering Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid classes for non-healthcare providers.

Home Health Aide – Diploma Program

Upon completion of the Home Health Aide program graduates will be able to seek entry level employment as a Home Health Aide with clinics, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and other healthcare practice facilities.

Patient Care Technician (PCT)

This patient care technician certification course will give you a comprehensive overview of working as a patient care technician. During this asynchronous training course, you will learn how to demonstrate your knowledge of the healthcare delivery system. You will learn how to apply knowledge and skills to provide individualized basic nursing care to a diverse population of patients and how to problem solve and use critical thinking skills within the PCT scope of practice while fostering a positive patient outcome.

ALF Core Training is designed for prospective assisted living facility administrators in preparation of taking the state-mandated Assisted Living Facility Core Competency Test and meets the requirements in Florida Statute 429.52 and Florida Administrative Code 59A-5.0191.
